I am a hardcore Google Reader user. It is one of the tools that I open every day. Although its interface is fine, it could use some little spices and styles. NewsSquares can make this happen. It a Chrome extension that provides a cooler and entertaining way to read your favorite news and blogs. Once you installed NewsSquares, click the app icon in the app area and click the Start button to load feeds which will be displayed as squares. All items will be listed in a horizontal panel on the bottom which you can scroll through them. Click on any news item to read it, it will display a popup in the same window.
