For those who can't wait for the official release of Windows 8, I have discussed about tools like Ultimate Tile Pack and Skin Pack that can turn the look of your Windows 7 to Windows 8 user interface. Another similar tool is Mosaic Windows 8 Edition. It is an application that brings the Windows 8 Metro UI to your desktop. It gives you set of live widgets that shows some content from the web or from your PC. When you install it, by default, it adds clock widget to your desktop. You can add as many widgets as you want from Start Menu present at right side of the screen. Just move mouse over to the right-side to reveal the Start Menu.
Mosaic supports contents in WPF, HTML5, and HTML. It works with Windows 7, as long as you have .NET Framework 4.0 installed. I tested it on Windows 7 x86 version.
