Print Any Web Pages, Images, GMail Email And Attachments With Google Cloud Print Extension For Chrome
In case you haven't heard about Google Cloud Print before, it is a free cloud service by Google ofcourse which allows you to connect your printer with the Google Cloud to be able to print to that printer from any computer or smart phone, regardless of where you are. Once installed and activated in Google Chrome, your printer will be available to you from Google Cloud Print enabled web and mobile apps. To make use of this cloud service outside Google apps, for example for PDF and images, then just download "Print Using Google Cloud Print" chrome extension. Once extension is installed, an icon at the end of the address bar will appear when the current URL is printable.
The extension lets you print any document in DOC, TXT, PDF, JPEG format located online. The extension also adds "Print all using Google Cloud Print" link to your GMail account to print emails and attachments. I can see this extension replacing fax machines, instead of faxing a document, you can print it using Google Cloud Print as long as the target printer is available in the cloud.
