Upgrading to a higher edition of Windows is relatively easy. For example, you can upgrade an existing Windows 7 Home edition to Professional version just by running the upgrade installation using a Windows 7 pro installer. What about downgrading? unfortunately you'll have to reformat your disk and start a fresh installation. Upon installation, just run the application and click the corresponding button of downgrade path you want to perform. Then insert your Windows installation disk, select "Upgrade" and your Windows 7 Enterprise will be automatically downgraded to the version you have chosen.
