When we want to browse the internet without leaving a trace, we often use the built-in private mode of our preferred browser. This is not bad but it doesn't prevent prying eyes from peeking on your monitor to see what you are doing. There is no built-in quick hide button/key for ie, firefox and chrome. If you want to hide your browser quickly without losing your browsing session then instead use another browser called underBrowser. It is a minimalist browser that has no regular features such as bookmarking, tab browsing, password saving and etc. But it has the most important feature you want on a private browser, a boss key.
By pressing F1 key, underBrowser will hide immediately, leaving no trace behind in the taskbar or system tray. To bring it back just press F2 and your browser session will be restored instantly.
It should work on all Windows operating system. I tested it on Windows 7 x86 system.
