Real-Time Web Analytics Now In Blogger Draft As Built-In Stats
This morning, I tried to log into "Blogger In Draft" to check whats new in Blogger. One feature that instantly caught my attention is the addition of Stats tab on my site's dashboard. When I clicked on it, I found out that its a real-time web analytics of my website's traffic. I usually use Google Analytics service to monitor my traffic but with this new feature of Blogger, I don't have to switch to another service just to check my website stats. Blogger Stats doesn't require installation or configuration, they are collected independent of Google Analytics.
If your just concern about basic information of your site visitors like the countries they are coming from, what browser they are using, most popular posts on your blog, the traffic by time and etc then Blogger Stats is sufficient for your need as traffic analytics tool. Unlike Google Analytics that update for an hour or so, Blogger Stats is real-time meaning you would know which of your post is getting popular at the very moment you check the Stats page.
Take note that this feature is still on testing stage and may change in the future.
