Date and Time stamp of files give us critical information such as when the file is created, last modified and last accessed. These info often use to compare the latest version of a file when your maintaining more that one copy of it. If you require to change these information then you may use Restamper application. Restamper is a portable software that created to primarily do one thing, modifies time stamps of files. It supports the precision of 100 nanoseconds, the full range of date and time that Windows can handle. It usage is simple, just launch the app, set the date and time stamps and hit the Stamp files button (hand right arrow).
Re-stamping process will create "Restamper Task" folder automatically on the desktop. It contains log and backup file which can be use to restore the changed properties back to original. If you want to tweak the application, a source code is also provided at the download site. Restamper runs on any version of Windows including Windows 7. I tested it under Windows 7 x86 Ultimate Edition.
