If you have multiple systems most probably you also have several pairs of keyboard and mouse cluttered on your workstation. You can avoid using multiple pairs of input devices by using Input Director software that lets you control multiple Windows systems using the keyboard/mouse attached to one computer. This software was designed for workstations that have multiple systems that is usually manage by one person at a time. With Input Director, you can share a single pair of keyboard & mouse across a set of system. You will be able to switch the control between systems by either using hotkey or by moving the cursor. To make it work with your multiple systems, you have to install it on every system you want to share the keyboard and mouse. Input Director works as Master-Slave relation so you have to configure one Master and the rest are slaves. To set one computer as Master, launch the application, and under Master tab hit "Enable As Master". You can set the hotkey for the master by click the "Set HotKey" button. Next is to configure the Slaves, proceed to Master Configuration tab and then click Add to enter the hostname of your slave PC. Repeat until you add all slaves you wanted to share the input devices.

Now to set other computers as slave, move to the other system and click on the Enable as Slave button. Under the Slave Configuration tab, Add the Master Hostname where the slave will be connecting to.

Now your all set! Just move the mouse pointer to extreme right side of the screen to start controlling the slave's computer as if you are handling a single system. Input Director Works on Windows 2000 (Service Pack 4), Windows XP (Service Pack 2), Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 2008 or Windows 7. Take note that your system should be in a network.
