Schedule And Publish Your Tweets Automatically With TweetTwain

How to schedule tweetsSending Tweets at a specific time in the future is sometimes necessary for different purposes such as tweeting regular announcements, time based contests, future software releases and so on. This is when TweetTwain becomes handy, it allows you to create tweets and schedule it whenever you want to publish. TweetTwain will publish the tweet on the specified time and date. Its simple main interface gives you the full control over your scheduled tweets. Located on the top are several toolbar buttons that performs different actions, hovering over each of them will display the task it can perform.

The tweet list is divided into two tabs, the Tweet Queue which contains the scheduled tweets and Tweet Archive where you can see the previously published tweets. To add a new tweet to the queue, just click the blue bird icon. Next to it is the search icon which you can use to search and follow twitter users. With the RSS icon, you can add any feeds to monitor and automatically tweet all the new posts.

Before using TweetTwain, you must have a Twitter account and you should register TweetTwain as authorized application to connect on your Twitter. To register the app, just go to the Settings>Register with Twitter menu. A generated PIN will be provided by Twitter, enter this PIN in TweetTwain.

TweetTwain is a portable desktop client software for Twitter. There are no installation needed. Currently it supports Windows, Linux and Mac. For this post, I have used TweetTwain with Windows 7.

Thanks for the post. Downloaded from their website. The screens are different from yours, looks like there is a new version for Windows.
