To search for YouTube videos, you have three options. One is to go directly to the site and use the search form. Second is through Google Search but expect the result to be a combination of YouTube and Non-YouTube videos. Your third option is to search directly from your Google Chrome browser with the little help of an extension. Fast Youtube Search is a web browser extension for Google Chrome that allows a user to perform a search on Youtube directly in the Chrome browser. After installation, this Chrome extension put an icon at the right side of the address bar. When you click the icon, it displays a small form that can be used to enter the search phrase.
When typing-in search terms, Fast Youtube Search displays search suggestions beneath the search form. Tap the return key or use the left mouse button to select an entry. The Youtube page will always be opened in a new tab in the browser.
