File hosting service such as MediaFire and MegaUpload are very useful when you want to store and share media files online without worrying about the file size which we usually do on email attachments. With Mediafire you can have a free unlimited storage space and up to 100MB per file. So you can imagine what other people upload on it. Using Google and a little trick, you can search these file hosting servers for music, movie, comics, archives and etc.
To look for Music files, you can type the following on Google Search box:
site:mediafire.com mp3|wma|ogg|wav
If you want music files of a specific artist, type:
site:mediafire.com mp3|wma|ogg westlife
Or specific title:
site:mediafire.com mp3|wma|ogg "father and son"
For Videos, you can type:
site:mediafire.com asf|rm|avi|mp4|wmv|flv|mpg
For videos with specific title, type:
site:mediafire.com asf|rm|avi|mp4|wmv|flv|mpg "back to the future"
To search for achieves, use this:
site:mediafire.com rar|zip
There you have it! you can try it for your self. Just copy and paste above search strings to Google search box. To use it on other file hosting service, just replace the "mediafire.com" on the search string to another hosting website such as "megaupload.com".
