I have been using TrueCrypt for a while to encrypt my confidential files. The common challenge on maintaining TrueCrypt volume is when you run out of free space to accommodate new files. This is where a portable opensource expansion utility become useful. extcv can easily expand a TrueCrypt volume without formatting it. The app can expand all kind of volumes (container files, disks and partitions) formatted with the NTFS file system. Using the app is simple, just run the app, select the volume that you want to be expanded, and hit Start button.
It is not recommended to use this app to expand an outer volume containing a hidden volume since the hidden volume can be overwritten. Take note that you have to run extcv as System Administrator. The developer claims that it can support TrueCrypt 6.2a and later versions. It works on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Nice one. This what I was looking for.
Thanks
I was looking into creating a hidden volume on my USB drive. Is there a way to setup TrueCrypt Travel drive and have a hidden volume on a thumb drive?
@vixenfinder
similar to normal disk, you can create hidden volume on thumb drive as lonng as the outer and hidden voumes are on the same disk.
