Recover Deleted Photos with Memory Stick File Rescue

While getting familiar with a new sony point-and-shoot camera, My friend accidentally deleted all photos on it except one. If you are on a similar situation, you don't have to panic because you can easily retrieve any deleted photo as long as the current location is not yet overridden (next time, don't use the memory stick until the deleted photos have been recovered). Sony has a great software that can recover photos directly from a Memory Stick. Although Memory Stick File Rescue app only works on Sony Memory Stick, if you have other type of memory card then I recommend using FreeUndelete instead.


To recover your deleted photos, download and install Memory Stick File Rescue, run it and follow each step of the recovery wizard.



After several minutes (depending on the number of files that can be recovered) of scanning the selected media, the app will display all recoverable deleted photos. You can undelete all or just some photos of your choice. We tried this software on our own Memory Stick and we recovered around 600 deleted photos on it. This great tool supports most Windows version including the Windows 7.
