Organize Cluttered Windows Files on Your Hard Drive Using Digital Janitor
Like anyone else, I have several cluttered images, videos, documents and other files on my hard drive. These hundred files grew overtime and manually moving each of them is tedious and waste of time. To organize these files automatically, I use the Digital Janitor. It is a free windows program that can sorts your files by type and puts them to designated folders. For example, you can tell Digital Janitor to sort pictures to a Photos folder, .docs to Doc folder, .xls to another, and so on. The app is easy to use. First select the folder you would like to clean up and then type the extension you want to sort and the folder you want it to go. Hit the "Auto-Sort" button to start the sorting the files from the source folder.
Digital Janitor works on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
