Monitor and Automatically Resize Photos on a Folder
Before uploading photos to the web, I usually resize photos to a web-friendly image size. If your trying to resize several photos, you can automate the process by using Dropresize software which monitors a folder then automatically resize any jpeg file that was drop into it. The program is free and portable so there is no need to install it on your Windows machine. To use it, just Download the app, unzip and Run the exe file.
At start-up, define the folder you want to watch by clicking the Browse button. You can also set the preferred final width and height. Now everytime you want to resize a photo, just drop it inside your dropresize folder then let the app perform its job.
The application requires Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 if your using Windows XP SP1 and below.
