Share your files with friends directly through browser

Share you files with friends directly through browserWhen we share huge files over the internet, we commonly upload it to file hosting servers such as mediafire and rapidshare. Today I discovered an online service that allow users to share their files with other users using browser-to-browser file sharing. Without directly uploading your file to server, FilesOverMiles shares files directly between your web browser and the person you want to share with.

To use the service, start by choosing the file you want to share then the website will create a unique and private URL which you can email the link to the person you want to share the file. When they visit that URL, their browser will immediately begin downloading the file directly from you. The service uses 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) to protect your privacy. FilesOverMiles requires version 10 or later of Adobe Flash Player because it uses the peer-to-peer communication technology.
